The GMAT exam tests decision making under strict time conditions. Practising the content along with the timing strategies is imperative. The average time to solve a question in the Quant section is 2 mins/question and for Verbal it is 1.49 mins/question.
Unless you have a time management and pacing strategy in place, you won’t do well on the test day even though you might have mastered the exam content. It is not surprising that the single BIGGEST cause of a score drop on the test day is BAD Time management. The GMAT exam algorithm heavily penalises test takers who don’t complete the exam by dropping their scores/percentiles sharply.
